Gyorgy Henyei Neto

How come a Brazilian anthropologist, who makes music, and creates art, woks in finance, also writes books? This is not a premise for a romp comedy, nor a setup for a crime thriller; this is who I am.​

I'm Gyorgy, I write fantasy and sci-fi novels, novellas, short-stories, and comics, and for the longest time, I wished to be an author. Well, if you write, create, and somehow that is read by others, an author you are. And that is I.

Born in Brazil, I live in the UK for a decade, and it was only when I finished my PhD in anthropology, and had time to write outside of academia, that I discovered my desire to work with fiction and creative writing. I have put out my debut sci-fi novella, ARIA, in 2021, after spending the year prior writing and plotting. I am now working on its two follow-ups, and the conclusion of the Scintillance Theory trilogy.

ARIA, the first book in this trilogy of novellas, is now out and available to read.

The second instalment, SEEK, is in its final stages of writing and editing, and will be available on the first half of 2023.
